Thuongmai University Donates VND 50 Million to Covid-19 Vaccine Fund and 2 Tons of Rice to Families Disadvantaged by Pandemic in Mai Dịch Ward

Given the complicated happenings of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Government and Communist Party’s policy, the call of the Prime Minister, in order to support the Government, create more opportunities for the people to have early vaccination and share difficulties with the families disadvantaged by the pandemic.
Thuongmai University Donates VND 50 Million to Covid-19 Vaccine Fund and 2 Tons of Rice to Families Disadvantaged by Pandemic in Mai Dịch Ward
On 10 August, 2021, at Mai Dịch Ward’s People’s Committee, the Board of Management of Thuongmai University represented the staff to give VND 50 million to the Mai Dịch Ward’s Covid-19 Vaccine Fund and 2 tons of rice with the value of VND 30 million to the families disadvantaged by Covid-19 pandemic. The University has been active and proactive in preventing and fighting the Covid-19 pandemic. At the same time, the University has managed to maintain the stable payroll and remuneration for the staff  during the outbreaks.   

Previously, in an effort to help with medical supply, ensure people’s health, and support the nation’s frontline in preventing and fighting Covid-19 pandemic, the University’s representatives had given 10,000 N95 facial masks worth VND 100 million to Bắc Ninh Province’s Fatherland Front Committee, 1,000 test kits worth VNC 135 million to Bắc Giang Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, sent VND 100 million to doctors and medical staff working at Bắc Ninh Province’s General Hospital, and VND 200 million to the Board of Management of the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund. 

This is a practical and meaningful action by Thuongmai University’s lecturers and staff so as to share difficulties with the Government and Party, provide the nation with more resources to enhance the pandemic fight and prevention, and ensure the social security and people’s health.
