Thuongmai University Signs Memorandum of Co-operation in Logistics Training at Vietnam Logistics Forum 2017

This is a highly significant event of Vietnam’s Logistics, establishing a system of exchanging information of logistics development policies, logistics service business, and builds a discussion between logistics service enterprises and partners

Vietnam Logistics Forum was formally organized in Hanoi on December 15th, 2017 with the attendance of
  • Leaders of Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Transportation and Transport, Ministry of Finance, People’s Committees of the Provinces and Cities
  • Leaders of international organizations in Vietnam
  • Representatives of logistics associations, enterprises and related trading and producing enterprises
  • Scientists from Universities and Institutes of logistics.
Vietnam Logistics Forum’s meeting includes a variety of crucial contents as follows:
  • Summarizing and evaluating the implementation of Decision No.200/QD-TTG on February 14th, 2017, of which the action plan of competing capability improvement and Vietnam’s logistics development to 2025 being ratified by Vietnam’s Prime Minister
  • Announcing “Vietnam logistics report 2017” and officially launching the website: www.logistics.gov.vn
  • Signing co-operation document among associations, enterprises, and training and research organizations of logistics
  • Discussion among government management agencies and logistics enterprises involves in current logistics development policies in Vietnam

At Vietnam logistics forum 2017, A/Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Long, Vice rector of Thuongmai University, participated in the signing of the “Memorandum of co-operation in logistics training with 15 universities and institutes of logistics in Vietnam including University of Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Transportation and Communication University, Hanoi Industry University, Electricity University, Hochiminh University of Transportation and Communication, University of Economics - National University, Hanoi University, Vietnam Maritime University, Foreign Trade University, HCM University of Engineering Education, Vietnam Logistics and Aviation University, Vietnam Logistics Research and Development Institute, EDINS. The signing of the memorandum of educational collaboration in logistics fields between parties aims to establish a network of  education, research and technology transfer to meet the need of developing logistics fields in Vietnam
