On 26th November 2019 morning, at Conference Room, F Building, Thuongmai University announced the foundation International Cooperation Institute
Ceremony on Announcement of Foundation of International Cooperation Institute
Participating the ceremony, there were A/Prof.Dr. Bui Huu Duc, Standing member of Thuongmai University’s Communist Party Committee, Chairman of Thuongmai University’s Council; A/Prof.Dr. Nguyen Van Minh, Standing member of Thuongmai University’s Communist Party Committee, President of the university’s labor union; A/Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thi Bich Loan, Party Committee member, Vice President; A/Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hoang, Party Committee member, Vice President; Phan Thu Trang MA., Secretary of the university’s Youth Union’s Executive Board; heads of departments and the staff of the International Cooperation Institute. The International Cooperation Institute (originally Faculty of International Training, Thuongmai University) was officially founded on 8th November, 2019 with 33 employees in International Cooperation Institute’s Office, Project Research and Development Board; Board of Training, Admission, and Communication Management; Department of French; and Department of Chinese. At the ceremony, Dr. NguyễnThịTình, Deputy head of Personnel Department, announced the decision on the appointment of Director and Vice Director of International Cooperation Institute. Accordingly, Prof/A. Dr. TrầnKiều Trang was appointed the Director, and Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuong the Vice Director.

Prof/A., Dr. Bui Huu Duc, Chairman of the university’s Council, said that the foundation of International Cooperation Institute marks a significant stage in the development of the unit in particular and Thuongmai University in general.
On behalf of Thuongmai University’s leaders, he also sent congratulations to the managers and staff of International Cooperation Institute with a hope that the institute’s staff will promote their solidarity, cooperation, and sharing in the unit and with other units of the university to successfully complement the missions assigned by the university.

Prof/A., Dr Tran Kieu Trang, Director of International Cooperation Institute expressed her thanks to the university’s party committee and Board of Directors and all units of the university for their support for Faculty of International Training (now International Cooperation Institute) to gain tremendous achievements in the past. The newly appointed director also cited the contributions of the predecessors and all the lecturers, office workers, and students who have continuously contributed to the development of the unit.

On behalf of the International Cooperation Institute’s staff, Prof/A., Dr. Tran Kieu Trang made her vow to the university’s leaders to promote the sense of responsibility and continuously study and accumulate experience to successfully implement the assigned tasks.
