On 3rd November 2018, at H3 hall, the Department of Scientific Research Administration and the Youth Union of Thuongmai University held a seminar on  “Consulting Research Skills for Students of Thuongmai University”
Attending the seminar, there were Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hung – Secretary of the Youth Union of the University; Dr. Pham Tuan Anh – Head of Department of Financial Management; teachers from Department of Scientific Research Administration  and more than 300 students of Thuongmai University. With the purpose of fostering and enhancing the quality of research papers by students, the Department of Scientific Research Administration coordinated with the Youth Union to hold the session  to exchange and provide students with essential skills in doing scientific research. This also creates opportunities for students to approach and adopt research methods and solve scientific  and practical problems, which help them achieve high research results in the school year 2018-2019. In the previous school year (2017-2018), the University got three Student Research prizes at Ministry level, two of which were 3rd prize. In schoolyear 2018-2019, there were totally  396 research projects carried out by 1001 students. It is hoped that this year, the movement of doing research among students will be expanded and get good results. At the seminar, students listened to valuable and dedicating sharing from guest speakers including: Dr. Pham Tuan Anh - Head of Department of Financial Management; representatives from students getting the “Students doing research” Prize in 2017 of the Ministry of Education and Training: 1. Nguyen Thu Ha – K51H5; 2. Nguyen Thi Hang Loan – K51B4LH. After the presentations, students posed a lot of questions, all of which were answered in detailed with full of useful information.
