Thuongmai University receives and works with Representatives of Lunghwa University, Taiwan

At 8.30 on January 24th 2019, at meeting room No.3, building I, Thuongmai University received the representatives of Lunghwa University of Science and Technology, Taiwan, led by Dr. Pan Ya-Dung, head of International Cooperation Department.  On the side of Thuongmai University, there attend A/Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Bich Loan, Vice Rector of the University; A/ Prof. Dr. Nguyen Viet Thai, Head of Department of Foreign Affairs & Communications; and A/ Prof, Dr. Tran Kieu Trang, Vice Dean of International Training Faculty.

At the meeting, the two universities exchanged issues related to training affiliate programs that have been implemented between the two institutions. Dr. Pan Ya-Dung expressed his wish to cooperate with Thuongmai University on the 2 + 2 training affiliate program. At the end of the meeting, A/Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Bich Loan gave a gift and thanked the Lunghwa University of Science and Technology for the conscientiousness towards Thuongmai University and the cooperative relationships between the two universities.
After the meeting, the delegation of Lunghwa University also had a meeting with 1st-year students of Commercial Chinese of Thuongmai University to learn more about students' academic and aspirational needs. The exchange session attracted the attention of numerous students. After a brief introduction of the formation and development process of Lunghwa University of Science and Technology, Dr. Pan Ya-Dung explained in more detail about Lunghwa University's training majors, modern facilities and the best learning conditions offered to international students. In the discussion, the students also raised questions about the campus and social life in Taiwan, as well as their wishes and aspirations in learning Chinese and getting the scholarship opportunities of Lunghwa University of Science and Technology.
The meeting and exchange program ended successfully.
