Delegation of Thuongmai University Visits and Signs a Cooperation Agreement with Lunghwa University (Taiwan)

From November 23 to November 25, 2017, the delegation of Thuongmai University, led by Prof. Dr. Dinh Van Son - Rector of the University, visited and worked with Lunghwa University (Taiwan).

In the framework of the trip, Prof. Dr. Dinh Van Son signed a cooperation agreement to implement a master's program in marketing management with Lunghwa University. The delegation also worked with the Rector and heads of specialized faculties of Lunghwa University on possibility to implement a bachelor's international associate program in the form of 2 + 1 + 1, whereby students will study for 2 years in Vietnam (Thuongmai University), 1 year studying in Taiwan (Lunghwa University) and 1 year of practical study in enterprises in Taiwan with receiving salary (by Lunghwa University). This is a highly practical training program that helps learners quickly adapt to work. Students with good practice results will be offered to work at the internship enterprises.

On this occasion, Prof., Dr. Dinh Van Son also sent an invitation letter and officially proposed Long Hoa University to co-organize the international workshop to be held in August 2018 at Thuongmai University. Prof. Dr. TZU-HSIANG KO, Rector of Long Hoa University, expressed his honor and pleasure to co-organize the Conference with Thuongmai University and partner universities from Europe.
The delegation of Thuongmai University also discussed with Lunghwa University about the exchange program of lecturers, research projects, especially focused on building joint research groups in specialized fields, publishing scientific articles of lecturers in scientific journals of two universities.
The delegation also visited and discussed experiences on how to invest, operate simulation rooms for virtual securities investment, multi-functional classrooms at Lunghwa University.

The business trip was successful, which continued to strengthen the cooperation between the two universities, contributed to the fulfillment of the goals of internationalization of training and scientific research activities of Thuongmai University.
